My role: Worked with Ilwad Elman’s PR team to coordinate approved media and presentation around a sensitive humanitarian interview. The original footage required substantial post-production including wind, background-noise reduction, audio balancing, and visual correction .

Platform strategy: Preserved the central story while changing the hook, depth, tone, and framing around how audiences use each platform.
Vertical Video for Instagram
Adapted the long-form interview into a social-first vertical video built around an immediate human hook: “We could all be displaced.” I used frequent visual changes, supporting imagery, captions, and purposeful pacing to sustain attention while introducing a complex humanitarian issue in an accessible way.
LinkedIn Adaptation
Reframed the story for a professional audience by emphasizing the larger systems challenge behind refugee response: what happens when institutions designed for temporary emergencies must address displacement that can last for decades? The post foregrounded leadership, organizational models, long-term solutions, and RefugePoint’s approach to self-reliance.
Bluesky
Bluesky Concept Adaptation
Reworked the story into a concise, text-first post built around a discussion-provoking question rather than a promotional introduction. The adaptation prioritizes immediacy, a conversational tone, and one central idea before directing readers to the longer piece.

New Works: Sculpture Collection
Created an original visual showcase for a new sculpture collection, beginning with the physical capture of each piece and carrying the project through final edit. Using my own equipment and turntable setup, I developed a consistent way to present the work from multiple angles, then used pacing, movement, music, and typography to turn individual sculpture footage into one cohesive visual experience.

Stand By Mother — Santa Barbara International Film Festival
Produced short-form premiere coverage using original footage captured on location, including access to the film’s young cast and coordination with both the production team and festival. I also secured approval to incorporate music created for the film into the final edit (Depeche Mode at Columbia Records).
