Visuals & Graphics

I design visuals that make information easier to understand, easier to navigate, and more engaging for the audience they’re meant to reach.

“AI Glasses are Here” Blockchain at UCSB – Instagram Carousel

Developed an educational Instagram carousel for Blockchain at UCSB on the emerging debate around Meta AI glasses. I researched and distilled perspectives from both sides into accessible, visually consistent slides, prioritizing accuracy over sensationalism and closing with a discussion prompt designed to encourage audience engagement.

My role: Research · Editorial framing · Copywriting · Information design · Visual design · Audience engagement strategy

Birth of Reason – Quote Graphics for Instagram

Created a reusable social design system that could flex across community, volunteer, staff, foundation, and business-facing posts without losing visual consistency. I developed repeatable layouts, maintained a unified brand treatment, and prepared custom transparent visual assets so each post felt polished while still belonging to the same series.

My role: Visual design · Template development · Brand consistency · Audience-specific messaging · Image preparation · Social content design

A Decade of Pageant & Event Promotion

For nearly a decade, I created promotional posters, contestant packets, and brochures for HeartShine pageants and partner events across multiple markets, from Los Angeles to Northern California to Reno, Nevada. The work spanned children’s, adult, and community pageants, requiring me to shift between audiences, themes, and visual styles while keeping dense event information clear and usable.

Pageant design is intentionally maximalist, often combining names, titles, dates, sponsors, crowns, photography, and event details in a single piece. Working within that visual language strengthened my skills in hierarchy, typography, image treatment, and organizing complex information without losing energy or impact.

My role: Graphic design · Print collateral · Contestant communications · Information hierarchy · Typography · Image editing · Audience adaptation · Event marketing
